Setup & Quick Start Guide

1. Easy Install: This app is officially signed and notarized by Apple. It should open instantly after downloading.

2. Permissions: Grant Accessibility in System Settings so the app can track your active window.

3. Use: Give your mouse a shake or press ⌘+B to toggle the blur effect instantly.

4. Customize: Use the dotted circle icon in your Menu Bar to switch modes (Blur, Pixel, Dim).

Is this app safe to open?

Yes. This application is officially signed and notarized with a valid Apple Developer ID. This means Apple has scanned the software for malicious content and verified it is safe to run on your Mac.

In the rare case you see a "blocked" message, you can still go to System Settings → Privacy & Security and click Open Anyway.

Gray overlay instead of blur?

Check your system’s transparency settings:

  1. Open System Settings.
  2. Go to Accessibility → Display.
  3. Make sure Reduce Transparency is turned OFF.
